Doggo is an action platformer game with very similar gameplay to Temple Run. The only thing here is, you get to take on the life of a dog chasing after an evil cat who stole his ball. Follow along on his chase as you run after the cat thief through all kinds of scenarios and (hopefully) finally reunite with your beloved ball.
In Doggo, you'll get three different 'lanes' for you to move your character around by swiping your finger. Of course, in order to jump over obstacles, you'll need to swipe upwards, and rolling on the ground will let you dodge incoming obstacles from above.
As always in this genre of games, you'll need to try to pick up as many prizes (bones, treats, coins, etc) as possible along your way. This mechanism isn't terribly new, but as the saying goes: there's nothing new under the sun, but this game is pretty fun.
In terms of graphics, Doggo is very nice. The doggo himself is really cute and his feline adversary flies around in a -- wait for it -- cabbage. Yes, you read that right. So obviously, a cat flying around in a cabbage is adorable by default and on that basis alone there's reason enough to play this game.
All in all, Doggo is a fun title that comes with the kind of pure and simple gameplay that's just as entertaining as it is addictive. In fact, we'll bet it'll have you hooked for at least a few hours while you try to blaze past your own personal records.
